Your gifts will directly support Lite Foot Environmental Foundation’s community programs and sustainability efforts to ensure we can keep Savannah and surrounding areas beautiful. You can support a specific program, as detailed below, or contribute to our general funding, which allows us to allocate resources where they are needed most at the time they are given.

Gifts of $500 or more annually qualify for public recognition at the Lite Foot Foundation headquarters at 2400 Bull Street and complimentary access to our events throughout the year.

ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION
We know education is the key to creating long-lasting change. Through speaking engagements, K-8 curriculum and Eco-friendly day camps, we provide adults and children with the tools and resources they need to lead a sustainable lifestyle.

REUSE PROGRAM
Lite Foot Environmental Foundation hosts clothing, book, hobby item and school supply swaps throughout the year. This initiative promotes second-hand use of gently loved items for residents of the greater Savannah area to prevent waste, share resources and reinvigorate a sense of local community and neighborhood.

UPCYCLING PROGRAM
We believe in the art of upcycling. Yes, art. Our annual Upcycling Competition is hosted in partnership with our neighbors, Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), and encourages fashion designers of all skill levels to reuse previously loved materials to create one-of-a-kind looks.
Lite Foot Foundation also hosts clothing alteration workshops, and we plan to purchase a 3-in-1 upcycling machine to turn plastic waste into functional treasures.
