We know education is the key to creating long-lasting change. Through speaking engagements, K-8 curriculum and Eco-friendly day camps, we provide adults and children with the tools and resources they need to lead a sustainable lifestyle.
Reuse Program
Lite Foot Environmental Foundation hosts clothing, book, hobby item and school supply swaps throughout the year. This initiative promotes second-hand use of gently loved items for residents of the greater Savannah area to prevent waste, share resources and reinvigorate a sense of local community and neighborhood.
Upcycle Program
Lite Foot Foundation believes in upcycling as art. We host an annual Upcycling Competition with SCAD to inspire fashion designers to create unique looks from reused materials. We also offer clothing alteration workshops and plan to buy a 3-in-1 upcycling machine for turning plastic waste into valuable items.
