At Lite Foot Environmental Foundation, we believe in the power of simple changes to create long-lasting impacts. Swaps are an easy yet effective way to make a positive change for our environment. Our swap programs aim to reduce waste and promote sustainable consumption. In facilitating clothing, book, hobby swaps and more, we encourage the community to keep items in use for longer, preventing them from going directly to waste.
When you participate in our swaps, you will find items organized by size or category for an efficient experience. As an added bonus, swaps are cost-effective for all participants! The byproduct is we collectively conserve water, reduce greenhouse gas emissions and minimize negative environmental impacts.

Clothing Swaps
Clothing swaps offer community members the opportunity to trade in their once-loved pieces and upgrade their wardrobe in a sustainable manner. Clothing swaps are ticketed events in which participants donate their used garments to the Lite Foot Environmental Foundation prior to the date of the swap to be sorted by size. At each swap, you’ll be able to look through the entire selection of donated clothing from fellow participants, find new pieces you love, and take them home to update your closet, all while being eco-friendly!
Over the last year, more than 60 individuals participated in Lite Foot clothing swaps, exchanging over 500 articles of clothing that could have otherwise ended up in a landfill. Chose to reuse and reduce your carbon footprint by sign up for a clothing swap today!
